20k K2K Challange

What is The 20k K2K Challange?

The 20k K2K Challenge is a cycling initiative aimed at young riders aged 13 to 17. Every Saturday at 10 AM, participants convene at Blatchford Sporting and Recreation Reserve, where we walk with our bikes to the Kallangur cycling track’s starting point. After a brief warm-up to engage their muscles, riders embark on a journey to Kippa-Ring Station and back to Blatchford Sporting and Recreation Reserve. Following the ride, participants can either head home independently or wait for parental pickup.

This challenge is not a race; instead, it emphasises the experience of the journey, fostering teamwork and gradually improving each child’s cycling endurance by reducing completion time. The group will be led by both Charlotte and Bradley, with Bradley at the front and Charlotte at the rear, ensuring that all participants stay together, and no one is left behind.

Participants must provide their own bikes and helmets and should possess competent riding skills. It is essential to check that your child’s bike is in good working condition, as any mechanical issues could delay the group and may result in a fee.

Prior to enrolling your child in this challenge, please ensure that you have thoroughly read, understood, and agreed to our terms and conditions.
